Unlike in a classroom, in a personalized lesson, a private tutor can focus directly on the student's needs. No time is wasted because everything the teacher and student discuss directly benefits the student. It follows that with private lessons, you learn more effectively, have more fun, and need fewer hours to learn what you need to because the English lessons are focused on your interests and needs.

The first time we speak, you don’t have to pay anything.
We'll speak for about 15 minutes during which time we will asses your language needs together. You share your language goals with me, and I take notes, also picking up issues that you might not be aware of, so I can offer you guidance on the full spectrum of English.
After our meeting, you can send me an email to tell me whether you would like to take English lessons with me.
If you decide that I am not the right private tutor for you, no problem! Remember, if we don’t connect with the teacher, studying will not be fun.

Why Private Lessons?

"Can I achieve an accent reduction in online classes?" - Yes you can. As long as we have a stable internet connection, and you own a headset with a good microphone, I am able to pick up the characteristics of your pronunciation and help you.
"How long are our classes?" - This is your class, so you decide, but 1 or 1.5 hrs is often a good amount of time.
"What will our study schedule be like?" - People have busy lives, so you can schedule a class as often as little as you want, based on your and my availability.
"How long will I need to improve?" - It depends on how much you already know, how often you take classes, how much you practice on your own, and which aspect of English you study.
"How do I pay?" - You can always pay via PayPal, but if you have a Canadian bank account, you can also use e-transfer.
